electric furnace the probe of the oscilloscope needs to adjust the impedance matching part before us
electric furnace the probe of the oscilloscope needs to adjust the impedance matching part before use. generally, the end of the probe near the oscilloscope has an adjustable capacitor. if some probes do not match the impedance near the oscilloscope, the measured waveform will be deformed. The adjustment method is as follows.
1. Select the input of the oscilloscope to GND, and then adjust the Y-axis displacement knob to make the scanning line appear in the middle of the oscilloscope. Check whether the scanning line at this time is horizontal, that is, whether it coincides with the horizontal center line of the oscilloscope. If not, you need to adjust the horizontal balance knob. Generally, the analog oscilloscope has this adjustment terminal. In the small hole, you need to use a screwdriver to adjust it. Digital oscilloscope without adjustment.
2. Select the input of the oscilloscope to the DC coupling, and connect the oscilloscope probe to the test signal output terminal of the oscilloscope (generally, the oscilloscope has this output terminal, usually a 1KHz square wave signal), and then adjust the scanning time knob to enable the waveform to display about 2 cycles.
3. Adjust the Y-axis gain knob so that the peak-to-peak value of the waveform is about 1/2 screen width. Then observe the upper and lower sides of the square wave to see if it is horizontal. If there is overshoot, tilt and other phenomena, it is necessary to adjust the matching capacitor on the probe. Adjust it with a small screwdriver until the waveforms on both sides are horizontal and there is no overshoot.
When adjusting the oscilloscope of the electric furnace, if the quality of the oscilloscope probe is not completely distortion-free, it can only be adjusted to the best effect.
