Electrical circuit of quenching tank

1. Wiring and installation of electrical components should strictly follow the electrical circuit diagram. If the electrical control system uses controllable silicon components and logic control links, they should be installed and adjusted according to the design requirements, and can only be put into normal operation after stable trial operation.

2. There should be no looseness at the connections of various circuits, the wiring screws should be firm and reliable, and there should be no false welding at the welding points,

3. The contact surfaces of the starter, contactor, and knife switch should be smooth and free of burrs, with appropriate pressure adjustment. The contact blades should be closed simultaneously and have good contact.

4. The short-circuit rings of starters, contactors, relays, etc. should not be disconnected, loose, or detached, and there should be no noise or jamming during operation.

5. The conversion switch and limit switch should be intact, flexible in action, and reliable in contact.

6. The electrical box door should be intact, tightly closed, and the clamping screws (or door locks) should be complete and tightened.

7. The inside of the box should be kept clean and dry, and it is strictly prohibited to stack other debris.

8. All electrical wiring such as distribution boxes, control boxes, junction boxes, etc. should be neat and beautiful, with power numbers and circuit diagrams. The shell should not have any extra holes, and protective wire clamps should be added at the outlet.

9. The buttons and indicator lights on the control box must be complete and clearly marked. The control box shall not have obvious vibration and bumps, and the inclination with respect to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5 °.

10. The starting handle should be flexible and reliable, and the automatic and manual control positions should be accurate.

11. Any iron pipe or metal hose with wires should be securely fixed and grounded.

12. Various button switches, relays, and other automatic control equipment should be securely fastened and operate sensitively. The indicator light bulb should be able to turn on and off normally.

13. The arc extinguishing cover of starters, contactors, etc. should be intact and undamaged. The fuse and fuse blade of the fuse should be selected appropriately and match the actual capacity.

14. The wire joints near the quenching tank and transformer are not allowed to be soldered, generally brazed.

15. The insulation resistance of the measured line phase to phase and phase to ground should generally not be less than 4M Ω.

16. The brackets and insulators supporting the lines on the quenching tank should be reliable and undamaged. Electrical devices and various safety protective covers used for masking must be fully covered.

17. The outer shell of the electric furnace and all exposed metals that are easily in contact with people must be well grounded.

18. The grounding (neutral) wire should have sufficient strength and cross-section, and be securely connected.

19. The wiring terminals should be placed on the furnace shell and box shell in a place that is easy to inspect and not easy to touch, and there should be clear grounding signs. The grounding terminal should have good conductivity and undergo anti-corrosion treatment.
