Application Example. A gear blank with a diameter of 1100mm and a modulus of 8 shall be quenched and tempered. The material is 40CrMoA steel. The quenching heating temperature is 850 ℃, and the quenching oil tank equipped with a variable speed medium stirring system is used for controlled cooling, and then tempered at 560 ℃. After calculation, Ms = 308 ℃, the time to reach Ms point is 467s, the quenching intensity value F = 0.42,Ms is the previous stirrer speed of 400r/min. The test results are Rm986 ~ 1007MPa,Rp0.2 869 ~ 913MPas,A5 19.4~20.2,Z64.7%~ 66.0, & alpha;K137 ~ 141J/cm2,HBS291 ~ 294. The performance meets the technical requirements and avoids quenching cracking and severe quenching distortion.
