Quench tank cleaning method

1. Use an oil pump to pump out the old oil in the quenching oil tank , and the old oil in each pipeline should also be drained out (the joints can be opened to drain out the old oil).

2. thoroughly remove the oil dirt, carbon black and sediment in the quenching oil tank and on the furnace wall. people can go down to the quenching oil tank and wipe the dirt clean with cotton yarn.

3. Clean the quenching oil tank 1 times with new machine oil (1~2 barrels), and then drain all the oil.

4. Use a small amount of quenching oil to clean the quenching oil tank and circulation system 1 times, and then drain them completely.

5. Check whether the circulating cooling system leaks. It is strictly forbidden to enter water in the oil, otherwise the service life of the quenching oil will be greatly reduced.

6. Check carefully again whether there are residual oil stains and other impurities in each part of the quenching tank, and add new oil only after passing the test.

Note: Old oil, water, air, etc. will cause rapid aging of new oil and affect the cooling characteristics of the oil. Therefore, the oil tank must be cleaned and no old oil, water and sediment can be left.
