Quenching medium cooling circulation system-liquid collection tank
The liquid collection tank is usually a rectangular or cylindrical tank welded by steel plates. The liquid collection tank is often used as an accident oil drain tank, and its internal partition is usually divided into 2 or 3 parts for liquid storage, sedimentation and standby respectively. The volume of the sump shall be greater than the sum of the volume of quench medium in all the quench tanks and cooling systems served. For oil collection tank, it is generally increased by 30% ~ 400, and for water collection and aqueous solution tank, it should be increased by 20% ~ 30%. The height of the partition in the tank is about 3/4 of the height of the tank. The oil collection tank is generally provided with oil holes and oil drain holes for maintenance. The oil inlet pipe shall be inserted below the liquid level. The oil suction pipe should be inserted into the bottom of the quenching oil tank, and its end should be added with a filter screen. Have a level gauge and an emergency drain valve. Heat preservation and heating devices shall also be considered for the sump.
Many old-fashioned oil cooling circulation systems in our country do not have coolers, make the oil collecting tank very large, and rely on natural cooling. This structure brings problems such as large oil reserves, easy aging of oil, difficult replacement, high fire risk, large land occupation and deep pit.
