Quenching medium cooling method for quenching tank

2, quenching medium water jacket cooling
The method is to set the cooling water jacket outside the quenching tank. This method has a small heat exchange area and is difficult to achieve good results. Figure 1 shows the quenching tank with cooling water jacket.

3, quenching medium serpentine cooling
The copper pipe or steel pipe is coiled and arranged inside the quenching tank, and the cooling water is used to cool the quenching medium. Although this method has a large heat exchange area, the medium around the main cooling tank still has a large temperature difference in the center of the tank, so it is necessary to strengthen the stirring of the medium to reduce the temperature difference in the tank. Figure 2 shows a quenching tank with serpentine cooling tubes.

4. Quenching tank is independently equipped with cooling circulation system. A quenching tank is independently equipped with cooling circulation system. The structure is compact and the oil storage is less. There are several structural forms as follows.
(1) The small quenching tank is equipped with a cooler. This structure directly mounts the small cooler in the oil circulation channel in the quenching tank, as shown in Figure 3.

(2) The quenching tank is equipped with a cooling circulation system. Figure 4 shows an independent quenching oil tank equipped with a cooling circulation system. The tank is also equipped with a movable trolley, which can serve multiple small heat treatment furnaces.
